Our Organisational Setup

The highest decision making body within TREND is the Board of Directors. This is a small core Group of 5 high profile Sector personnel who meet twice a year to decide on strategic management decisions and policies that govern the Group. The Board appoints a Managing Director who serves a four -year term and is an ex-officio member of the Board.

At the operational level TREND operates within 5 separate Units namely:

• Training and Community Management,
• Engineering and Research,
• Materials Development and Information,
• Institutional Development,
• Finance and Administration.
